About Music

As I started this entry I started to write about a few different topics however, I decided to condense it yet still (hopefully) hit all topics... so here goes.

Music
First and foremost. Last night/very early this morning was one of the greatest times of my life. Last night One-Eyed Doll made their Chattanooga debut or as Kimberly likes to say, "day-butt." They appeared at JJ's Bohemia headlining a show where I was able to experience another band out of Austin, Tx named Mobley which was a very exciting band!
The most important thing was Jambo and I were finally able to meet One-Eyed Doll, Kimberly, #3 (P.J.), and Jr. (Jason). They were great! Nicest people you could ever meet. As we arrived we met #3 and Jr. in the parking lot and stood there and talked for a bit before venturing inside where we got to meet the beautiful and talented Kimberly. It was so exciting to get to meet them I was truly star-struck just talking to the three of them. It was only after the show that I finally was able to hold a conversation with them without being struck dumb by their stardom. I was so excited Jambo and I were able to get pictures made with the band.

Another thing I wanted to talk about regarding music is this. This should be a GREAT year for music, below are some of the artists releasing new albums this year:
Egypt Central
One-Eyed Doll - out already && got it!
Killola
School Seven Bells (sviib)
Vanilla Ice

Well my train of thought has seriously derailed from how this entry was originally supposed to follow.. so I guess since I can't really remember what's left I'll just end it here.

Time Travel...

This post is in response to a couple conversations I have had over the past month or so.
This is not going to be your typical "Time Travel is possible because..." or "Time Travel is ridiculous because..."
this is going to be me talking about what I would do.

First off there are several things I would love to see that happened in the history of the world, to name a few:
a.) the parting of the sea during the exodus
b.) many of the miracles performed by Christ
c.) Martin Luther's protest

I also would love to go back to view certain key battles in history (Revolutionary War, Civil War, etc).
I also want to see who really killed JFK, see the landing at Roswell NM.

Finally, I would go back to 1969 and following the Grateful Dead around.

Just throwing that out there.

Random Thought

This is a random thought, and is more directed to those who live near enough to pass or be near me on the road. I am going to try and keep this quick.

First off, I am a rather 'aggressive' driver. If you happen to see me driving and want to get my attention to wave or something and plan to hit your horn please keep it to short multiple beep-like honks. Don't give me just one honk or more specifically one long honk, because you will most likely get a rude hand gesture from me, and I don't think you nor I want that.

Just thought I would pass that along.

Where are they now?

You know, there are times in stories where people leave to go somewhere or the story ends and when they do follow-ups with the characters they disappear and are never heard from again.
For example, Radagast the Brown from Lord of the Rings as far as we know, he is not killed, but we never seem to hear from him ever again. What about Bertram, from The Sandlot, the last you hear of him is that, "he got really into the 60's and no one ever saw him again." There are plenty more of these people, what I want to know is, where are they? Where did they Go? That is where I want to go! First off, I'm too young, I missed the 60's so I can't get really lost in them it's not like. There will not be a score, at least not in my lifetime, that will compare to the 60's and 70's . Besides, if it does happen in my lifetime, then there's a good chance I'll be too old and senile to take advantage of it. As for Radagast, he was sort-of a druid amongst wizards so I sorta can relate to the guy, but at least he got out. This has just been one of those days where, I want to sell the house, quit my job and move out west and be a footnote in someone's family tree. A footnote that simply reads, "Moved somewhere out west, no one knows what happened to him."

I at least want to move to the land of Cheers, somewhere "Where everybody knows, your name and their always glad you came." I grow increasingly bored in this world, it is just really boring. I mean I'm not knocking the world God created, I'm really not, I am just looking for more than is capable.

i don't know, i just need a break.

Random schtuff

Disclaimer: The following has high probability of making no sense whatsoever. Proceed at your own risk. I'm warning you.

First VH1 is CRACK. I had EVERY intention of working on my book this evening I had tons of thoughts about it and thought that it would be a good night to work on it, that was before I tuned my idiot box into VH1. VH1 was airing "I Love 70's: Volume 2" OMG I could not help but watch it.

Secondly, if you haven't had much to eat and decide to let the guy @ Hard Rock talk u into a big arse pilsner and drink it all, be cautious of elevators.

gotta go "I love the 70's" is back on!

Step 1. Form Secret Alliance
Step 2. Allow M$ to think they are in control
Step 3. Go public with aliance.
